About the Artist: Young was a diverse and multi-faceted artist.
He illustrated books and magazines and was
employed by The Denver Times and The Chicago
Tribune as an editorial illustrator. He was
a Member of the WPA in the 30's and was active
in professional artist organizations in Chicago
where he also studied at The Art Institute
of Chicago.
