9" x 13" sight, 19.5" x 23.5" frame.
About the Watercolor: Excellent condition. New mat and frame.
About the Artist: Landscape painter in watercolor. Painted
widely in England, Scotland and Wales., and
exhibited at the principal London galleries
from 1859 - mainly at Suffolk Street and
the R.I. His first work shown at the R.A.
was in 1871. Twenty-two of his works were
exhibited at the Royal Academy, 153 at the
Royal Institute and 275 at the Fine Arts
Society. Lived in London and died on 26th
April 1908.
