Condition: Very good condition.

Biography: Vanderhoof was an etcher and illustrator, associated in particular with Century. He is said to have contributed to the perfection of the technique of soft-ground etching. He also was an instructor at Cooper Union and was active in the formation of the Art Student's League. He died in Locust Point, NY in 1918.
