About the Etching: Very good condition.

About the Artist: Illustrator and etcher, Charles Henri Toussaint is best known for his architectural studies. He studied in Paris under Gaucherel, Andre, and Brunet-Desbaines. The artist worked in both France and England. Exhibitions included the Paris Salon and the Exposition Universalle - 1876, 1884, 1899, and 1900.
The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco have a collection of etchings that feature Oxford and Cambridge.
