Sheep in highland landscape, watercolor, signed l/l,
14" x 20" sight, 26"
x 31.5"
frame.
About the Painting: Mounted in a fine Larson Juhl frame, this
watercolor was in excellent condition, but
fell from the wall, breaking the glass and
resulting in a two inch scratch in the lower
middle section. New images will be provided
soon. Despite the damage, it's still a wonderful
highland landscape featuring a typical Scottish
summer sky.
About the Artist: Edinburgh painter of landscapes, mountain,
loch and moorland in oil and watercolor.
Exhibited at RSA, RA, RHA and RGI and was
an active member of the Scottish Art Club.

- 1960.
Note: The watercolor was photographed under glass
resulting in reflections particularly
noticeable
in the lower middle section of
the painting.
The photograph does not adequately
depict
the masterly contrast of color
and light
the artist captured in this superb
example
of his work.
