About the Etching: Very good condition.

Biography: The artist was a celebrated Victorian physician who was also an accomplished etcher with exhibitions at the Royal Academy in 1877 and the Society of Painters and Etchers in 1881. He is known to have completed approximately 40 etchings, and he is listed in Benezits and Bryan's Biographical Dictionary of Painters and Engravers.
