About the Paintings: Both in very good condition.



About the Artist: Painter, etcher and lithographer of landscapes and architectural subjects. Born in London on 15th August 1882. Studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts, at Goildsmiths' College School of Art, at Camberwell School of Art, and at Bournemouth College of Art. Exhibited at the R.S.A., R.H.A., R.W.A., in the provinces and at the Paris Salon. Official artist to the Ministry of Information 1942-44. Lived at Brighouse in Yorkshire and later in Whitby. - from Dictionary of British Artists Working 1900-1950 by Grant M. Waters.
