No evidence exists to establish how this
painting of Carson was executed. It could
have been a private sitting, but it might
also have been done at a street kiosk - or
from a photograph. Other than the bio provided
by the previous owner, we have been unsuccessful
in establishing biographical information
about this artist. We have found a writer
with the name, and discovered the obituary
of another William J. Pease ("William
was born on February 1, 1957 and passed away
on Friday, July 16, 2010. William was a resident
of Gainesville, Florida.") We shall
appreciate any information that will enable
us to explain the origins of this painting.
