About the Artist: Margaret Niven was elected a member of the
ROI in 1936, on the recommendation
of H Davis
Richter, and she remained a member,
and sat
on the council of the society,
for over 60
years. She showed her work at
the Royal Academy,
the RBA, RP, Leicester Galleries
and Wildenstein's
and she is represented in a number
of English
public collections..

acquired by the previous owner directly from
the artist (with the exception of Boatbuilders Yard, Brixham, which was with Daphne Fedarb). Additional
