subjects. Born in Birmingham
on 27th February
1881, Sutdied at Birmingham School
of Art
under E. R. Taylor and E. Harper
1896-1903.
Exhibited at the R.A., R.I.,
G.I. And abroad.
Received an Hon. Mention at the
Paris Salon
1922. He travelled in Frnace,
Holland and
Germany, but above all was interested
in
the English countryside and way
of life.
Published Old English Country
Cottages, The
Charm of the English Village
and other works.
Lived in London and Later at
Wallingford
in Berkshire.
