Biography: Portrait painter in oil and water-colour.
Born on 12th February 1913 at Welling in
Kent. Studied at the Gravesend School of
Art, at the R.C.A. 1931-35, at the British
School in Rome, also in Paris and Copenhagen.
Exhibited at the R.A., R.I., R.B.A., N.E.A.C.
and the provinces. Elected A.R.W.S. 1962
and is represeented in several public collections.
Married artist Eileen Greenwood and lived
near Hollingbourne in Kent. - from Dictionary of British Artists Working 1900-1950.
